Patricia Gibson’s visionary leadership has guided the growth of PMG Communications for nearly 20 years as it has evolved from a corporate video production company into a full service strategic communications firm. PMG’s success is the result of Pat’s years of experience and expertise in developing communications strategy and leading teams of media development professionals through a wide range of projects.
Prior to founding PMG Communications, Gibson was the Senior Manager of Video Production in Corporate Communications for Bank One Corporation. She served on a number of task force committees that developed communications strategies for mergers and acquisitions as well as the launch of a new brand strategy. Prior to her position with Bank One, Gibson produced video corporate communications programs for Kartes Video Communications, a full-service video production company in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Gibson is the President of the Ohio Affiliate of the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association, a global organization with more than 6,000 members worldwide. Under her leadership, the state group has grown from less than 10 to 100 members. Gibson is also the founder and past President of Women for Economic & Leadership Development (WELD), a state-wide organization focused on the advancement of women. She serves on the Advisory Board for the Center for Entrepreneurship at The Ohio State University, where she is a frequent volunteer, and is a member of the Lt. Governor’s Round Table for Women-Owned Businesses.
Gibson has been recognized as one of the Top 100 Most Influential People in Columbus, Ohio by Small Business News and as a 2002 & 2003 Newsmaker by Business First. She is a graduate of Indiana University, where she has been a featured speaker.
